User Engagement Lead
SBD is seeking a motivated User Engagement Lead to join an exciting modernization project for our client working in a fast-paced and forward-thinking agile environment. The project team will be responsible for developing and supporting a custom developed web-enabled system. This includes the user story development, architectural design, coding, testing, implementation, and maintenance of new functionalities as well as enhancements to existing ones. Data Analytics support is a critical function of the system and will provide users the ability to analyze and use the health insurance and related information. This includes a data repository and analytics solution to act as a cloud-based data platform for capturing, sharing, aggregating, and analyzing health insurance and related information to support improved decision making, improved business practices and improved services to states and federal agencies.
The User Engagement Lead organizes, facilitates, and participates in various user engagement activities, such stakeholder workgroups, user group meetings, conferences, webinars, and other communications with users and the client. The User Engagement Lead supports the development and update of documentation such as a user engagement plan and the stakeholder engagement plan. The Lead will manage a small team focused on user interaction and developing user journey maps, user stories and epics to support Agile development. The Lead will interface with help desk staff to identify trends and common issues that require resolution and/or items added to the product backlog.
Reporting to and working with the agile development team, you will own and lead specific customer engagements implementing redesigned customer developed application for CMS. You must have the maturity, confidence, and experience to manage and partner with users as well as the willingness, energy and technical ability to roll up your sleeves and work directly with the development team.
