Solutions By Design II, LLC (SBD) is seeking Data Warehousing Specialists (ETL) to join our team in support of our Federal Defense customer in Aurora, CO.  The individual(s) in this role will be joining a team that is responsible for maintaining, operating, and providing engineering and technical support to an Oracle Federal Financials (OFF) based e-Commerce system.  The team is responsible for administration and maintenance of the existing custom software; administration and upgrade of the existing Commercial-Off-The-Shelf (COTS) software and tools; maintenance of the existing COTS extensions and COTS configurations; corrective software maintenance of custom software, COTS extensions and COTS configurations, including all efforts to diagnose and correct application processing or performance errors; coordination for and troubleshooting of web-based applications executing on remote, Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA) computing platforms and network infrastructure; and support of DISA upgrades of Operating System and Network infrastructure.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Coordinates the data administration technical function for both data warehouse development and maintenance.
  • Facilitates change control, problem management, and communication among data architects, programmers, analysts, and engineers.
  • Establishes and enforces processes to ensure a consistent, well managed, and well-integrated data warehouse infrastructure.
  • Analyzes and identifies data and metadata requirements.
  • Defines user requirements and database design specifications.
  • Designs, implements, and supports data warehousing requirements. Implements business rules via stored procedures, middleware, or other technologies.
  • Provides product support and maintenance of the data warehouse.
  • Performs data warehouse design and construction.
  • Prepares/implements data verification and testing methods for the data warehouse.
Qualifications (Requirements):
  • For each individual, a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in a related field (e.g., computer science, engineering, and information systems); 15 years of experience may substitute a bachelor’s degree;
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience to include Oracle® database administration experience on a UNIX environment for an application of the size and complexity of the E-Commerce OFF application;
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience to include Oracle® database administration experience on a UNIX environment for applications of the size and complexity of the E-Commerce MTR/PAT and Extranet applications;
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience to include Oracle® database administration experience on a UNIX environment for an application of the size and complexity of the E-Commerce Documentum® application;
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience to include Oracle® database administration experience on a UNIX environment for an application of the size and complexity of the E-Commerce PRISM® application; and
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience to include Oracle® database administration experience on a UNIX environment for applications of the size and complexity of the E-Commerce EDW application.
  • Experience with Oracle database v. 12c, Oracle Access Manager (OAM) v. 11i, Oracle Internet Directory (OID) v. 11i, and Cloud Control v. 13c preferred.
  • Technical Environment Experience:
    • Application: OFF, EDW, MTR/PAT, Extranet, PRISM, Documentum, ECCP
    • OS: UNIX, Solaris, Windows 2012
    • DBMS & Tools: Oracle, Oracle Application Manager, WebLogic, OID, Cloud Control, Oracle, COTS: SBM, QC
  • Must be a US Citizen possessing or able to obtain the proper security clearance (i.e., ADP-I or II) in accordance with DoD 8570.01-M, Information Assurance Workforce Improvement Program.
