Service Desk Program Manager

Solutions By Design II, LLC (SBD) is seeking a Service Desk Program Manager (PM) to join our team.  The PM shall serve as Point of Contact (POC) for Contracting Office Representative (COR) and Government senior level managers.  They must possess a minimum of seven (7) years’ experience managing a service desk.

Responsibilities include:
  • Provide regular status updates and facilitating monthly Program Management Review (PMR) meeting.
  • Serve as a program management leader with accountability for delivery, technical management, plan, budget, schedule, and oversee the service desk operations from a program level
  • Performs day-to-day management of overall contract support operations, involving multiple shift teams and geographical disperse locations


Required Qualifications:
  • Have at least 7 years minimum experience in managing a technology service desk
  • Knowledge of Help Desk Institute (HDI) and Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) standards
  • Related technical and managerial experience in an end-to-end service desk and service delivery environment
  • Experience working and communicating with senior management.
  • Experience communicating and leading teams with a wide audience that ranges from senior leaders to project teams.
  • Experience in managing performance-based customer service support against multiple performance metrics in the Federal Government
  • CBP Experience a plus
  • Tier 1 and Tier 2 management
  • Experience in a 365x7x24 environment
  • US Citizenship is Required
  • Must have or be able to obtain a CBP clearance


Desired:
  • PMP or ITIL Certifications
